Buffalo, NY â September 6, 2025
The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens are set for a primetime clash on Sunday Night Football, but Buffaloâs final injury report brings both setbacks and relief as the team prepares for Lamar Jackson and company.
Buffalo Bills â 2 Out, 1 Doubtful, 3 Cleared
-
K Tyler Bass (groin) â Out
-
DT DeWayne Carter (Achilles) â Out
-
CB TreâDavious White (groin) â Doubtful
-
WR Keon Coleman (groin) â Cleared
-
WR Khalil Shakir (ankle) â Cleared
-
CB Christian Benford (groin) â Cleared
Bass, battling a groin issue throughout the preseason, has officially been placed on injured reserve and will miss at least the first four games. To compensate, Buffalo signed veteran kicker Matt Prater from the practice squad. Carter, meanwhile, suffered a torn Achilles earlier this week and has been ruled out for the entire season â a significant blow to the defensive front.
White remains the biggest question mark. Though fears of a major setback were avoided, the star cornerback has yet to practice this week and is doubtful for Sunday. His absence would test the depth of Buffaloâs secondary against one of the leagueâs most explosive offenses.
On the positive side, Coleman and Shakir both practiced fully and are expected to be active, while Benford has recovered from a minor groin injury and will start at cornerback.
Baltimore Ravens â No New Injury Designations
The Ravens enter Week 1 at near full strength, with no players officially ruled out or questionable on their final report.
Impact Outlook
The loss of Bass and Carter highlights a rough start to Buffaloâs campaign, while Whiteâs likely absence looms large against a Ravens passing attack led by Jackson. Still, full health at wide receiver gives Josh Allen key weapons to balance the field.
With the stage set at Highmark Stadium, Sunday nightâs opener promises high stakes and heavy drama between two AFC powerhouses.
