Steelers’ Will Howard Shows Off Skill He Picked Up From Aaron Rodgers

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Will Howard couldn’t have a better mentor than future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.

The new Steelers quarterback has said he’ll take Howard under his wing, and the Ohio State product is already emulating the Super Bowl-winning signal-caller.

While holding a youth football camp in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, Howard showed off his new cadence that comes right out of Rodgers’ book.

“Steelers rookie QB Will Howard said he’s already trying to emulate Aaron Rodgers’ cadence,” Steelers Depot’s Josh Carney wrote. “He broke it out at his youth football camp on Saturday in Ohio, too.”

Take a listen.

Howard isn’t the first young quarterback Rodgers has helped along.

He did the same with Jordan Love when the two were teammates with the Green Bay Packers.

Love has since developed into one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL and scored a massive four-year, $220 million contract from Green Bay.

A sixth-round pick, Howard isn’t as highly-touted as Love, who was a first-round selection, but having Rodgers in his corner will go a long way toward helping the rookie develop into an NFL-quality starter.
