Former Rams Super Bowl Champion Joins Bills, Takes Pay Cut for 2025 Title Run

Nobody panic, but the Buffalo Bills just got a little meaner up front.

A move that was a bit questionable but could be great that is the Bills have signed veteran edge rusher Justin Hollins to a one-year deal. Yes, that Justin Hollins, the Super Bowl champ who was once in his prime with the Rams. He’s 29 now, and hungry for more.

Hollins joins a Buffalo team that’s been quietly building on defense. The Bills didn’t just want depth. They wanted someone who knows to win games. That’s where Hollins comes in. He’s worn a lot of jerseys in the last few years, but this stop in Buffalo could be his most meaningful yet.

New Chapter Begins For Justin Hollins With The Bills

Hollins comes in with plenty of mileage and plenty of stories. Drafted back in 2018 by the Broncos (fifth round, 156th overall), he signed a four-year, $2.8 million deal out of Oregon. Things didn’t exactly stick in Denver. He got waived in 2020. But what followed next changed everything.

The Rams grabbed him off waivers and plugged him into their rotation. He responded with grit, versatility, and, most importantly, results. In 2021, he played a key role on the Rams’ defense during their Super Bowl LVI run. Across 67 career games to date, he’s tallied 10.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, and 16 quarterback hits.

Last season, Hollins bounced between the Packers, Giants, and Chargers, appearing in 12 games total. Earlier this year, he signed with Washington’s practice squad but didn’t last long there. They released him in October.
