💔 NFL SHOCKER: Kansas City Chiefs Owner’s Family Hit by Devastating Tragedy in Texas Floods!

“We’re heartbroken beyond words…” – Tavia Hunt shares emotional tribute after young family member dies in camp flooding.

🌊 What was supposed to be a joyful summer getaway turned into a nightmare…

Over the weekend, catastrophic flash floods tore through Central Texas, swallowing entire areas in Wimberley—including the beloved Camp Mystic, a summer camp for girls.

Among the victims was a name that rocked the entire NFL community:
👉 Janie Hunt, just 9 years old, and a cousin of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, tragically lost her life in the floodwaters.

😢 A royal football family shattered

The Hunt family, often called the “royalty of American football,” is now facing an unimaginable loss.
Tavia Hunt, Clark’s wife, confirmed the tragedy in a heart-wrenching social media post:

Fans across the nation flooded social media with condolences, prayers, and messages of support, using hashtags like #RIPJanie and #ChiefsFamily.

🏈 NFL players and teams respond

🧭 What happened at Camp Mystic?

Officials say heavy rainfall caused the Guadalupe River to rise rapidly overnight, cutting off access to parts of the camp and sweeping away cabins.
Despite rescue efforts, several campers were unaccounted for, with Janie sadly confirmed among the victims.

People look on as law enforcement and volunteers continue to search for missing people near Camp Mystic, the site of where at least 20 girls went missing after flash flooding in Hunt, Texas, on July 5, 2025.

⚠️ A sobering reminder: Nature doesn’t care about fame or fortune

This heartbreaking incident reminds us that disaster can strike anyone, no matter how wealthy or well-known. Even NFL royalty isn’t immune to nature’s wrath.

📢 SHARE this to honor Janie Hunt’s memory and spread awareness about summer camp safety.
