A Green Bay Packers star endured a horrifying ordeal, fighting off an armed robber with his bare hands, sources told ESPN Thursday. The shocking footage has left fans stunned.
Rasheed Walker and a friend were trailed home by two masked robbers late Wednesday. The assailants demanded the keys to his $45,000 Mercedes, phone, and watch.
Close-up video captures Walker reluctantly handing over his car keys. The situation escalated as one robber swung a baseball bat at him.
But with his 6’6″, 324-pound frame, Walker fought back, snatching the robber’s hat mid-attack. The thug fled, leaving evidence behind, according to police.
DNA from the hat led to Abderaham Muse, a seasoned criminal since 2009. He is now in custody and under investigation.
Prosecutor Martin Lewis stated, “No injuries occurred, but the shock was immense. Thankfully, Walker’s strength prevented worse,” per The Athletic.
Judge Anupama Thompson suggested Muse acted opportunistically, not out of personal grudge. “He spotted a nice car and house, thinking it an easy target. A trial will be scheduled soon,” she noted.
