Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. In Week 3, the Chiefs play the New York Giants on “Sunday Night Football” at 7:20 p.m. Arrowhead Time.

Some Notes

  • Kansas City head coach Andy Reid identified two players who did not participate in Wednesday’s practice: Mike Danna (quad) and Kristian Fulton (ankle).

  • Reid confirmed that wide receivers Jalen Royals (knee) and Xavier Worthy (shoulder) took part in practice. While Reid emphasized they weren’t being held back, both were officially listed as limited participants.

  • Josh Simmons (illness) was also limited.

  • On the Giants’ side, the list was much longer, with Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, Chauncey Golston, and Darius Muasau all sidelined.

  • Multiple key starters, including Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Andrew Thomas, and Jon Runyan, were listed as limited participants, raising questions about the Giants’ readiness for Sunday Night Football.
