Green Bay Packers Star Micah Parsons Offers Brutal Admission After Week 3 Loss

Entering Week 3 NFL action, the Green Bay Packers were quickly rising up the rankings among the top Super Bowl contenders in the league. Unfortunately, they were unable to back up that talk against the Cleveland Browns.

In what was an obvious trap game for the Packers, they fell prey to it. Green Bay ended up losing to the Browns by a final score of 13-10 to drop to 2-1 on the young season.

There were no positives to take away from the loss.  Even though the defense played well throughout most of the game, there were too many penalties and missed tackles. Offensively, the Packers were downright horrible.

Micah Parsons, the new superstar pass rusher for Green Bay, made two key penalties as well for being offsides. That isn’t something he was happy with following the game.

Green Bay Packers Star Micah Parsons Offers Brutal Admission After Week 3 Loss

After being traded to the Packers and being handed a massive contract extension, Parsons knows that he needs to be better. He admitted that following the loss to Cleveland.

“They didn’t bring me here to jump offsides, so I take more responsibility for this loss than probably anyone in here,” Parsons said.

Seeing a superstar take accountability is a good thing. Green Bay should be embarrassed about the loss, but the team will have a chance to bounce back strong in Week 4 on Sunday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaking about the matchup against the Cowboys, it will mean a bit more to Parsons than anyone else on the Packers. He has a score to settle with Dallas owner Jerry Jones. Fans should expect to see Parsons come out looking to make a massive impact.

As a whole, the entire Green Bay roster should feel the same way. No one played well enough against the Browns. The Packers need to rectify their loss to Cleveland.

It will be interesting to see how Green Bay responds to the loss. Also, it will be interesting to see what kind of impact Parsons can make against his former team.
