The Kansas City Chiefs were listed as a possible trade destination for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens.
The Kansas City Chiefs are among the best franchises in the NFL and the king of the proverbial mountain for the last seven years. After coming up short in their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, the team is looking to return for a fourth year in a row to secure their third title in four years.
Kansas City offers a young group of wide receivers including Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy. Their tight end room also features future Hall of Famer Travis Kelce and backup Noah Gray, who could be his successor after this season. However, a question remains whether the team should add another high-end playmaker in a final push to win it all again.

Anthony Palacios of Last Word on Sports suggested a major trade for a WR from the AFC North — namely, George Pickens of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pickens is considered one of the most talented young wideouts in the league but has been held back by inconsistency and behavioral issues.
“Pickens is the perfect fit for the Chiefs since they always figure out how to get past the off-field issues and help him become effective,” Palacios wrote.
“He might not get the spotlight here, but Pickens will likely be open to signing with the Chiefs if it means a legitimate Super Bowl run.”
It’s hard to ignore Pickens’ raw talent, and there’s hope that in the right system, he could finally live up to his superstar potential.
While a move this late in the offseason may seem unlikely, crazier things have happened — especially in the final weeks before the NFL Draft and during the offseason’s quiet summer stretch.
If the Chiefs were to land Pickens, the move could make them automatic consensus favorites to win it all again.
