With training camp approaching and expectations sky-high for a repeat Super Bowl run, the Philadelphia Eagles may still have one final move left — especially if their current group of edge rushers doesn’t solidify fast enough.

According to NFL insider Logan Ulrich, Von Miller, the 8-time Pro Bowler and 2-time Super Bowl champion, has been floated as a potential late-offseason signing if Philadelphia decides it needs help bringing down quarterbacks in 2025.
“If the Eagles get through camp and realize they need more juice in the room,” Ulrich wrote, “Miller is a strong potential fit.”
The Need: Replacing Experience With Production
The Eagles have lost longtime defensive leader Brandon Graham (retirement) and let Josh Sweat walk in free agency. While Nolan Smith and rookie Jalyx Hunt are promising, and Azeez Ojulari and Josh Uche offer upside, the overall edge group is considered less proven than last year’s rotation.

Ulrich notes that general manager Howie Roseman is “always hunting for pass rush,” and with Miller still on the market, the move would make sense for a win-now team.
Why Von Miller?
Von Miller is 35, but when healthy, he remains a high-IQ, explosive pass rusher who can still create pressure in limited snaps. He has recorded 123.5 career sacks, a Super Bowl MVP (SB 50), and has worked under Eagles DC Vic Fangio before — a major advantage for scheme fit.

He’s also ring-hungry. After injuries derailed his last two seasons in Buffalo, Miller is reportedly open to signing with a contender, even if it means a reduced role.
“At this point, it’s about legacy,” one league source told The Score.
“Von wants to win — that’s it.”
Final Thoughts
The Eagles may enter the season with confidence in their youth. But if training camp reveals holes in the pass rush — Howie could pounce.
And if Von Miller’s wearing midnight green this fall?
You’ll know exactly why.
