Kirk Cousins Traded to the Steelers – QB Room Shaken Up?

It appears the Atlanta Falcons are keeping Kirk Cousins in limbo, but there’s a strong possibility that his time in Atlanta ends shortly since the NFL Draft has concluded.

Cousins has made it clear he has no interest in spending the upcoming season on the bench, which makes a trade increasingly probable.

While teams like the Cleveland Browns should be seriously considering a move for Cousins, there’s one team that could be a surprise destination: the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers may have their eyes on Aaron Rodgers as a dream option, but he isn’t on their roster — and they need a proven quarterback now. Acquiring Cousins would instantly give them a playoff-caliber starter who could lead them deep into the postseason.

This wouldn’t be the first option for Pittsburgh, but Cousins could serve as a strong Plan B. He’d step in as the immediate starter, giving the Steelers the flexibility to groom a young quarterback selected in the later rounds of the draft.
