Paramount Pictures has unveiled a stellar cast for Steel Dynasty, a biopic honoring Pittsburgh Steelers legend Chuck Noll, with Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio set to portray the iconic head coach, sources told ESPN on May 14, 2025. Brad Pitt will star as revered owner Art Rooney Sr. in the film, slated for a 2026 release.

Chuck Noll, the architect of Pittsburgh’s 1970s dynasty, transformed the Steelers from perennial losers to four-time Super Bowl champions (IX, X, XIII, XIV) from 1969 to 1991. DiCaprio’s casting promises to capture Noll’s stoic genius, per Steelers.com.
