This week, they face the Tennessee Titans, a team stinging from a Monday night beatdown at the hands of the Bills. Both teams are desperate. Both teams are HUNGRY. Something’s gotta give, right?
Derek Carr needs to be Superman. Davante Adams needs to be unstoppable. The offensive line? Well, they need to protect Carr like he’s the last donut in the breakroom. No pressure, guys. Just the entire season riding on your shoulders.
The Titans, led by Derrick Henry, are looking to re-establish their ground game dominance. Can the Raiders’ defense, which has looked leaky so far, contain the King? If they can’t, it could be a LONG afternoon in Nashville.
Ryan Tannehill isn’t exactly lighting up the league, but he’s a veteran who knows how to win. He’ll need to be efficient and avoid turnovers against a Raiders defense that’s looking for a spark. Maybe a pick-six is in the cards?
