“He gave me the freedom to choose my own path,” Miller recalled. “But he also reminded me to stay humble — to never act like I was bigger than the game.”
Since entering the NFL in 2011, Von Miller has become one of the most decorated defenders of his generation: an eight-time Pro Bowler, a Super Bowl 50 MVP with the Broncos, and a key figure in the Bills’ quest to bring a championship to Buffalo. “Everything I do is for him — he gave me everything,” Miller said.
