WATCH: Spy Tom Brady Bribes A.J. Brown with Special Gift to Lure Him to Patriots, A.J. Brown’s Surprising Reaction

Philadelphia Eagles’ standout wide receiver A.J. Brown has enjoyed a stellar 2025. The dynamic playmaker secured his fourth All-Pro selection, dazzled throughout the playoffs, and capped it all off by realizing a lifelong dream—winning Super Bowl LIX and lifting the Lombardi Trophy. As if that weren’t enough, Brown recently shared that he’s received a unique gift from seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

In an Instagram video, Brown couldn’t hide his glee as he unwrapped a package revealing a signed jersey from the former New England Patriots legend. The inscription read, “AJ, a great player and champion.” Overcome with excitement, Brown nearly shouted but held back to avoid waking his family, opting instead to silently punch the air in celebration. He then recorded a heartfelt message for Brady: “Let’s f**king go! That’s what I’m talking about! Don’t want to wake anyone up. My man came through! That’s awesome, bro. Appreciate you, big bro—you’re officially big bro status now. We’re locked in, twin! Much love, man. The best to ever lace up cleats—debate that!” Brady responded with a simple, “My guy,” in the comments section of the NFL’s Instagram post.

The Patriots’ pursuit of A.J. Brown this offseason adds an intriguing twist. According to NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry, New England explored the possibility of trading for Brown earlier this year, reportedly contacting the Eagles to test their willingness to part with him. “Word is they’re knocking on every door, seeing what’s available, and one source told me the Patriots asked Philly about)A.J. Brown’s availability. No clue if it’s legit or what the Eagles said, but it’s clear New England’s dead-set on bolstering its wide receiver corps this offseason,” Berry noted. A month later, the Patriots inked Stefon Diggs to a three-year, $69 million deal, suggesting they either moved on from the Brown idea or Philly shut it down. Still, with time before the season kicks off, New England might circle back, potentially pairing Brown with his ex-coach, Mike Vrabel, now with the Patriots.

For now, Brown’s basking in his Super Bowl glory and the thrill of owning a Brady-signed jersey—an unexpected perk in a year already full of highlights.
